While looking over some various websites, I re-discovered the Athlinks site. I wasn’t that sold on it before, today though, I let my curiosity explore some. Finding race results from the last three years was a nice way to reflect on how much progress I have made, as a runner.
Something that I did not notice before, as I never dove into the site, was the aggregation of statistics from race results. Since Athlinks pulls all results for the events they list, I was able to discover my standings at each race, and overall, from those recorded results.
Of course, they don’t have every race I have ran, which skews the stats some.
Progress has been made, there is still more I would like to make. Running more will help me make that progress. Different distances, paces, partners, events, and conditions will all help me to become a stronger runner.
